Congress has again extended the COBRA premium subsidy available to eligible individuals who lose health coverage due to an involuntary termination of employment. Under the original law passed in February 2009, the subsidy was available to persons who lost coverage between September 1, 2008 and December 31, 2009. The cutoff date was earlier extended to February 28, 2010, later to March 31, 2010, and has now been extended to May 31, 2010. Click below for more information.
